eMail Your Resume.
Here's Some Helpful Hints.

Today, it is quite acceptable to email your resume. In fact many companies prefer email to postal mail. Which ever way you send it, keep a few things in mind as you prepare the package.

Never send a resume unless it is complete, accurate and professional. It will be the recipients only image of you and how you go about things.

Prepare your file in the proper file format. (No PDF's or Zip files). They cause the reader to open another software program (which means that your resume may never even get viewed). Microsoft Word is the most often preferred software with the vast majority of users.

Name the file an appropriate name as the recipient will see the name. Also make sure your email address is appropriate for job interview status.

A professional cover letter should be included as page one of the document you send, followed by the resume, then references or other attachments if the recipient has requested them.

Remember... your resume is a portrait of you, Make it a great picture!
